Faisal Al Amer is a Saudi writer and director, born on April 15, 1982, in Riyadh. He was one of the co-founders of Myrkott Studio, which produced the animated series Masameer since its launch in 2011. However, he resigned from the company in 2018 and moved to Telfaz11, where he currently serves as the Creative Director. He began his career in journalism as a writer for Al-Watan newspaper between 2011 and 2012 and published his book "Shaghb" in 2011, which inspired the popular series Masameer.
In addition to his writing career, Al Amer has made a name for himself in directing. He directed the short film "Al-Juradhi" (The Rat), which gained international attention after being featured on Netflix as part of the collection "Six Windows in the Desert." Faisal holds a bachelor's degree from King Saud University and has left a significant mark on Saudi creative content through his bold and satirical approach.
