Jorge Bechara (born 1 December 1969) is an argenitan director, screenwriter and showrunner. Trained at the Instituto de Arte Cinematográfico and built an extensive career in Argentine film and television. He began as an assistant director at Pol-ka, working on acclaimed productions such as *Gasoleros*, *Campeones de la Vida*, *Epitafios*, and *Desperate Housewives*. He later directed numerous successful television series, including *Sos mi Vida*, *Malparida*, *Farsantes*, *Cuéntame Cómo Pasó*, as well as Disney's *BIA*.

As a screenwriter, he wrote the feature films "Cacería", "24 Hs en la City", and "Un Crimen Argentino", and served as showrunner for "El Primero de Nosotros". Throughout his career, he has received major accolades, including the Sur Award and the Silver Condor Award for Best Adapted Screenplay for "Un Crimen Argentino", the Martín Fierro Award for Best Fiction Series for "El Primero de Nosotros", and the DAC Award for Outstanding Achievement in Audiovisual Directing.
