He preaches a peculiar brand of salvation, one that emphasizes anal sex as the proper way to enter the eternal kingdom. While this branch of theology might seem a bit controversial, his frenetic followers find that it's a great way to pass the time -- even if they don't end up in heaven! The whole thing would come across as awfully silly if it weren't for the facts surrounding the real Heaven's Gate cult. In contrast to their wacky belief system, Cummings seems positively sane. Whatever your take on the religious aspects of the flick, there's no denying that it's chock full of some of the steamiest back door boffing of the year.
