The protagonist, an army doctor, veteran of the Special Military Operation, and the sole survivor after his unit's frontline engagement, travels to a see the wife of his fallen comrade in a remote village on the Caspian Sea and pay his respects to the family. Suffering from severe PTSD after an explosion, he is undergoing a hard recovery, uncertain of his future.
