When NASA loses contact with American astronauts in space, a notorious hacker - under house arrest for breaching top-level government agencies - watches the crisis unfold on the news. Acting on instinct, he illegally hacks into the Deep Space Network and gains access to the International Space Station. There, he discovers a single survivor: a first-time female astronaut, held hostage by a Russian billionaire who claims he has discovered alien life and insists NASA stole his proof.
