Lost In ’82 follows a group of high school students whose lives change when a homemade time machine accidentally sends several of them back to 1982. Stranded in the past, they must navigate an unfamiliar era while trying to stay hidden and find a way home. Meanwhile, their friends in the present race to rebuild the machine and reopen the portal. Connected by a mysterious diary that allows messages across time, the two groups work together to plan their return. As prom night approaches and a powerful storm offers their only chance to reopen the time gate, the students must act quickly before the opportunity disappears and they risk being lost in the past forever.
