But when Ted introduces Nina to his rich, sick and old boss, Don Edmundo, his boss becomes infatuated with her. Ted persuades Nina to marry Don Edmundo, hoping for the old man's death and inheritance. Edmundo's daughter Lolit returns from the States and Nina is horrified when Ted marries her.
