Tomato and carrot specialist Röbi Schifferli actually wanted to ask Erika Studacher to marry him with a flowery - sorry, vegetable - declaration of love. But he bursts into the middle of big family troubles. Erika's brother, inventor Thomas Studacher, is on the verge of bankruptcy.
