Paloma is a girl from the neighborhood who dreams of success singing tangos. Until one day, two old friends inherit a mansion in San Telmo where they long to open a bar with Paloma as the star. The endless financial difficulties cannot be resolved with just a strong will, so they decide to turn to Alfredo Lucena, a businessman with important connections. The businessman immediately falls in love with the young woman and decides to help her achieve a successful career.
