Aunt Ülfet, who is known for arranging marriages, is consumed with longing for her only son, Oğuz. Aunt Ülfet, who has even arranged marriages for birds flying in the neighborhood, has a major rival in Firdevs. Ülfet has also arranged a marriage for Firdevs' son, but Firdevs is dissatisfied with her son's marriage. That is why she harbors hostility toward Ülfet. Ülfet's son Oğuz returns to Turkey from Russia after years away on a long leave.
