Pierre, a pigment geneticist, likes to be invisible to others. When he finds himself forced to work with Lucie, the girl he secretly loves, he panics. He develops a chemical that, instead of helping him cope with his shyness, actually makes him invisible. However, it is thanks to his invisibility that Pierre gradually becomes visible again to Lucie.
