Three Filipinas living in Japan become friends at a weekend Filipino gathering in Kitakyushu, Fukuoka. Hiyasmin Macaraig, who chose to stay in Japan after the restaurant she was working at closed, works different odd jobs to provide for her family in the Philippines.
