Oliver is a young and talented chess player. He lives with his brother, Liam, and his sick grandfather. The new therapy to cure their grandfather costs a fortune. Oliver therefore takes part in small chess competitions to pay off the debts. That changes when he is asked to take part in a psychological experiment that will earn him a lot of money, but turns out to be life-threatening.
