Miss Sena began her career in the Japanese Adult film industry in the mid 1990s, under the name "Shiho Fujiwara", specialising in "S & M". For a few months in 1998, she worked under the nom de plume; "Karan Misaki", and later on as "Miho Kanda" and "Miki Kagawa". She then took a sabatical for a couple of years, only to re-emerge dramatically surgically enhanced as "Sakura Sena" with 1000cc breast implants.

She suffered quite bad press in the Japanese media for choosing to do this; and for "setting a bad example" to young Japanese women, but nevertheless, she has marketed herself in a unique way and has achieved a lot of success.

With the Japanese market conquered, it now seems her intent to go global; as she has both one foot in the Japanese, and one foot in the American adult industries.
