Roque Sáenz Peña (1851-1914) was the president of Argentina from 1910 to 1914, when he died two years before finishing his term. He is remembered for elaborating and promulgating law 8.871, best known as "Ley Sáenz Peña", that enabled universal, secret and mandatory voting for all (male) Argentinians.
